How To Work From Home As A LUXE AF Picnic Planner

In 2020, I was scrolling Instagram and came across a beautiful luxury picnic, set in an Australian city right by a beautiful pink sand beach. I was mesmerized and immediately went to work pulling up all of the research I could possibly find on starting my own luxury picnic business. Then, we made a plan and just went with it! However, there are a few things that can hold you back when pursuing a picnic career and I am here now to teach you how to start your very own LUXE AF picnic business and compensate your full-time income. 

Now, before you decide this isn't for you, starting your own home based picnic planning business will allow you to have more flexibility regarding your pay and the hours you work. And that is exactly why you are here today, reading this article. Freedom. 

Let's get into it! 

1. LUXE AF BUSINESS PLAN

Like any other business, you will need to do some serious research (lucky you we've done all of this for you and you can purchase our e-book below), best practices, best tools, fill the appropriate paperwork, get all of your ducks in a row. The best way to make sure all of your bases are covered is to scratch up a business plan. Don't worry, this process does not need to be fancy or complicated. You just need a plan. 

2. CHOOSE A NICHE

There are many types of picnics you can create. Some Picnic Planners work a wide variety of different events, but we recommend choosing a specialty and honing in on your special craft. This will make you stand out from the crowd. Figuring out what niche you want to put focus toward can be challenging. Try to think about what you are passionate about. What are some of your interests? What do you have experience or knowledge in? 

Here are a few things to consider:

> Do you prefer working weddings, birthdays, baby showers, kids picnics, engagement picnics, corporate picnics?

> Do you want to focus on picnics over 50 people or smaller picnics?

3. BUILD YOUR WEBSITE

We recommend making your website very user friendly and if it fits your style, allowing your customers to book online and pay all at once. This will help you book more picnics. If they can do it themselves and everything is automated this will make your live much easier. We use Simply Book Me as our booking site and it is attached to our main website. This ensure our booking process is streamlined and very user friendly. 

4. MARKET YOUR BUSINESS

There are thousands of blogs and ideas online to promote your business; the only thing that is really, really important and the best piece of advice we can give you without spending crazy amounts of money on online courses is to be yourself, be consistent, and ride the wave! If you find something not working, drop it, dust yourself off and try, try again!
